This is Metta, from the DragonKeeper Chronicles. They don't actually have pictures, and I'm so happy because I ACTUALLY DREW SOMETHING OUT OF MY HEAD!!! Sure, I had to look at my dragon drawing book to see things like where the wing bones go, but still she came out of my head! (Also I looked at a flower book to draw the daisies.)
I'm going to draw the others (Gymn, Ardeo, Dibl, Filia, and Pat) sometime. They're all minor dragons, about the size of a kitten. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. It should be on the left of the picture if you are logged in as yourself.

You can mix them quite well (IMHO) and there are lots of bold colors.
Try mixing lots of colors together! Well not just any random color... maybe you could try mixing some reds and blues in with the purple to give it more "pop"
